Resources

In a digital age where there is so much information at hand, it can be quite overwhelming to sift through and discern the right advice when it comes to seeking professional help for one’s mental health, let alone identifying those who resonate with the Christian Worldview.

The following Resource Sheet has been compiled by the Allied Health Workers of HCC for those attending ‘Open Conference 2022 - With All’ and those who may not know where to start looking for professional medical advice, to be pointed in the right direction for their mental health.

This Resource Sheet includes an outline of:

  • the different mental health professionals in the NSW Health System

  • Crisis Lines

  • a list of Clinics and Professional Referrals

  • other Mental Health Organisations

  • as well as other material (e.g. Podcasts, and Articles).

We have also included Resources provided by one of our keynote speakers, Roy Kim, as he shares his expertise and stories from other Christians who have struggled with their mental health.

N.B. Please note that this is just a guide to seeking professional medical advice, and we recommend that you always consult your doctor or qualified healthcare provider regarding your condition and appropriate medical treatment.
