““He [Jesus] said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbour as yourself.””
Due to COVID-19, the past two years have been extraordinary, to say the least. The disruption in life and therefore its effect on mental health has expanded on a global scale, reaching all spectrum of societies from those who previously struggled with depression and anxiety to those who never considered such threats before. Dealing with unprecedented health crisis, conflicting information, government regulations, travel restrictions, state and international border closures, and all the logistical quandaries are enough to affect literally everybody in the world!
But how are the believers to respond? How does faith guide our orientation and behavior? What does the bible say about our source of anchor, hope and strength? What is the relationship between Christian faith and other important life components such as psychology, fitness and medicine, etc? How do we thrive and reach the lost in the post-pandemic world? These are the questions we want to seek partly from this event, but we must journey onward together to seek divine solutions.
